ACT values safety over production as the main asset for its manpower. In another word, ACT cares for each employee working in any ACT facility. To ensure the safety of each person, reliability of equipment and the quality of production, ACT put in place the “Tenets of Operation”;
Tenets are intended to protect people, the environment, and equipment based on three common sense principles:
Arabian Chemical terminals (ACT) aim to continually improve the products and services, we provide to meet our client’s requirements and to produce finished work that Arabian Chemical terminals (ACT) can justifiably be proud of.
Every employee or third party working at Arabian Chemical Terminals (ACT) should be able to go home at the end of the working day without injuries or caused harm in any possible way. Eliminating risk as low as reasonable possible (ALARP) for all persons is a key element underpinning all operations undertaken by Arabian Chemical Terminals (ACT). This requires a continuous effort from everybody involved.
We can only achieve this if each employee or third party at Arabian Chemical Terminals (ACT) understands the risks, realizes the critical importance of safety and knows what to do at all time and safely. Therefore we have compiled the
Safety, Security, Health and Environmental (SSHEQ) guide
That provides guidance. Arabian Chemical Terminals (ACT) expects that every individual is familiar with and applies this guidance. The safety of everyone depends on our commitment to these Safety, Security, Health and Environmental (SSHE) guide at all times, in all circumstances.
The SSHEQ Officer of ACT is responsible for monitoring the Safety, Security, Health and Environmental (SSHE) system and reports regularly to Management and team on the system’s implementation, status and effectiveness.
